The study Freedman wrote after seeing the full 1858 census. It corrects the two filiations that census contradicts and proposes, as a theory, others that do fit it: Khana daughter of Shlomo-Zalmen Komisaruk, Dvorka daughter of Aba and of a Chana who would be a Yovel, and a Sender as father of Falk and Aba.

It is Freedman’s most recent version and the one that fits the documents best. When Michoel Ronn obtained the full 1858 census in 2020, the women’s patronymics appeared —the Zaporizhzhia archive had left them out when searching on commission— and two filiations that had been taken for granted stopped fitting.

Freedman says it himself: “New information was discovered in August 2020 which necessitated rethinking the above relationships”. The new filiations he proposes are compatible with the census, but they are theory: Khana’s depends on her father Zalka being Rabbi Shlomo-Zalmen, and that of Dvorka’s mother on the tradition of kinship with the Yovels running through her.
